Prayer Requests
Your online prayer request opens a door, and God is waiting on the other side of that door, at all times, in all situations, to join with you and guide you to a closer relationship to Him.
In Judean Christian belief God is looking for ways to contact us and to claim us for His own, so even though we don’t deserve it, God, through His grace accepts us as we are with all our blemishes. Knowing that, we are comforted by His kindness and knowing that we don’t have to do anything radical or illegal to prove we are righteous or worthy of His love.
In the book of Nahum 1:7 we read, “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in him”. 1 Peter 5:7 says “casting all your cares upon him, for He cares for you”. So we believers who trust Him have nothing to fear and are winners from the get go.
Now here’s the good part. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:1 “We know that our body – the tent we live in here on earth – will be destroyed. But when that happens, God will have a new tent for us. It will not be a house made with human hands; instead, it will be a home in heaven that will last forever.” That means when our earthly body dies and goes back to the earth, we,-our inner soul and mind- will be clothed with a new heavenly body, 2 Cor. 5:2-3, and go to be with Jesus. This is what is called eternal life and it is there for the asking. (Confess anything in you life that is contrary to the will of God, acknowledge His Lordship and invite Him into your life as your guide and counselor.) If you have done that with a humble and contrite heart, rest assured that Jesus will be there for you and will not forsake you. John 14:20 says, “At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you”. Now you can understand 1 Corinthians 6:19 which says, “Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit”.
Please know that by His grace you are now a holy and precious child of God and that He is always with you and is willing to guide you when you trust Him.
Many blessings to you.
Please click on our email address, stcpcvan@gmail.com and it will open an email page for you. Do tell us your concerns in a few sentences and we will pray daily for you for seven days.
Sometimes God will answer immediately and sometimes tells us to be patient, but always He wants us to learn more about Him.
Please let us know when you notice changes in your life that stem from your Prayer Request.
Thanks.
