This Month’s Renewal Fellowship Prayer Calendar Requests

Friday, July 1 – Canada Day – Pray for God’s protection over those who speak His Word and uphold His truth in our country.

Saturday, July 2 – Pray for summer interns hired at Lakeshore St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Tecumseh, Ontario, and for all the local families whom they are able to reach.

Sunday, July 3 – Pray for those supplying the pulpit at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Parry Sound, Ontario, in July. May the Holy Spirit speak through Dr. Robert Cousins, Pastor Jon Fuller, and the Rev. Ian Shaw to those who gather for worship each Sunday.

Monday, July 4 – Pray for the To Marks and Beyond week-long Vacation Bible Camp which starts today at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Barrie, Ontario.

Tuesday, July 5 – Pray for the programming staff of Threefold Ministries Skylark Centre in Nicaragua; that they may re-energize during the short summer programming break and be rested, rejuvenated, and ready to share the love of Jesus.

Wednesday, July 6 – Pray for Valleyview Community Church, Calgary, Alberta, as they shift their Be the Blessing Project from blessing people materially to blessing people spiritually. Pray for high congregational engagement and obedience.

Thursday, July 7 – Dunamis Fellowship Canada invites us to join them in praying for the Global Edition 2022 hosted for youth over Zoom for the next three days.

Friday, July 8 – Pray for St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Simcoe, Ontario, as they welcome a new staff person to their congregation, that the congregation may continue to grow and be a welcoming space for children, youth, and young adults.

Saturday, July 9 – Pray for full-time ministers in smaller presbyteries, especially in remote areas where some are interim moderators in congregations while also providing presbytery leadership, that they may be able to carve out a time of rejuvenation this summer.

Sunday, July 10 – Pray for Grace Presbyterian Church, Scarborough, Ontario, as they host a Vacation Bible School this week.

Monday, July 11 – Pray for congregations that partner ecumenically with neighbouring churches during the summer months, sharing pastoral resources, that their bolstered ranks on Sundays may provide hope.

Tuesday, July 12 – Pray that God may grant faith, wisdom, and discernment to members of the lead minister search committee at Grace Presbyterian Church, Calgary, Alberta, to identify the new minister that God has chosen for the congregation.

Wednesday, July 13 – Pray that Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church, Regina, Saskatchewan, may build relationships with apartment dwellers who live near the church, as they host a Family Fun Night on their church lawn with snacks and activities.

Thursday, July 14 – Pray for retired ministers who carry heavy workloads as interim moderators and provide preaching and pastoral care in vacant congregations, that they may find opportunities to rest this summer.

Friday, July 15 – Rejoice with Camp d’Action Biblique, Québec, as they run in-person camps this summer. Pray for Randy Johnston returning as their summer director.

Saturday, July 16 – Pray for St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Banff, Alberta, and their interim moderator, Rev. Grant Gunnink, as they discern the mission that God is calling them to.

Sunday, July 17 – Pray for the leaders and children who will be attending one of the Arts Camps over the next couple of weeks at Grace Presbyterian Church, Scarborough, Ontario, that their time spent in drama, art, and dance may bring them closer to the Lord.

Monday, July 18 – Pray for Parkwood Presbyterian Church, Ottawa, Ontario, as they seek to plan renewed outreach to their community after a long period of COVID-restricted in-person activity.

Tuesday, July 19 – Pray for the Presbytery of Barrie and its executive as it goes through a visioning process and makes plans for autumn initiatives.

Wednesday, July 20 – Pray for the congregation of St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, Don Mills, Ontario, as they seek God’s direction, and for their interim moderator, Ian Ross-McDonald.

Thursday, July 21 – Pray for the migrant labourers who are working on Canadian farms, that their health may be protected and that local churches may know best how to support and encourage them.

Friday, July 22 – Pray for Clairlea Park Presbyterian Church, Scarborough, Ontario, as they consider electing new elders and implementing a new fellowship and discipleship group for men in their congregation.

Saturday, July 23 – Pray for Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church, Regina, Saskatchewan, as they host Hot Dog Sale Days this summer, that they may be a blessing to their neighbours.

Sunday, July 24 – Pray for the Session of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Parry Sound, Ontario, as they continue to seek the guidance of the Lord as they move forward in their vacancy.

Monday, July 25 – Pray that God would raise up a new teacher for the kid’s program that will be starting at Valleyview Presbyterian Church, Calgary, Alberta.

Tuesday, July 26 – Pray for ministers examining their call, that God may grant them courage, wisdom, and clarity of mind, and show them the way to peace.

Wednesday, July 27 – Pray that we will have the opportunity and the courage to speak about what Christ has done for us, so that others may find hope and believe the good news.

Thursday, July 28 – Pray for our local, provincial, and federal government officials as pressure is exerted upon them to change laws based on Christian principles and values of justice and righteousness.

Friday, July 29 – Pray for those who are preparing fall church programs for children, youth, and adults.

Saturday, July 30 – Pray for Trinity Presbyterian Church, Carp, Ontario, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Moncton, New Brunswick, and other congregations that are in the search process, that the Holy Spirit may lead them to the ones who are called to serve among them.

Sunday, July 31 – Pray for the Rev. Ryan Bak, minister without charge, as he discerns his role in future ministry and begins serving Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church, Regina, Saskatchewan, as their Interim Moderator.
